“…Children are a reward from God…”, Ps 127:03 and they are our responsibility. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me..”, Matthew 19:14. And, this is what we, at the Little Kingdom Children’s Ministry are doing – bringing children closer to God.

Little Kingdom Children’s Ministry came into being in August 2007 with the mission to “Train children in the way they should go”, Prov 22:6. We bring the truths of the Word of God to children in the ways their little minds understand. We teach them who their creator is and what He has done for each of them and help them realize that they are God’s special creation to carry out His special purpose in this wicked generation.

We have praise and worship time, where the children are taught songs and the importance of worshipping God. Older children are given opportunities to lead the worship, the intercessory prayer as well as sharing the Word of God, equipping them to minister the gifts bestowed upon them by God. We are blessed with teachers who dedicatedly teach the children to follow the perfect example of our Jesus Christ. Children are divided into classes based on their age, and each class is lead by a teacher who guides them through age appropriate lessons and crafts making the Word of God simpler to them. We do conduct competitions and have celebrations, giving children an opportunity to bring out their talents. We also take our children on picnics where we get to mingle with them and create a strong bond with them outside the class.
Children are the future and by building them on the strong foundation of God’s word, we are building a future generation of mighty men and women of God who will be a light in this dark and wicked world.

In July 2014, we have conducted our first VBS (Vacation Bible School) with the theme, “Fix your eyes on Jesus” which was all about running the Christian race with our eyes fixed on Jesus. We were overwhelmed to know that it was a great blessing and that it influenced minds and hearts of all the 60 children who participated. All the glory and honor to our Creator, God Almighty ALONE!!
